2nd Annual Charity RIde

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 10 this year as the 2nd Annual La Niña Sled Camp Charity Ride!

Last year was such a success, we raised $2,300 for the Revelstoke Hospice Society and this year we are setting the bar a little bit higher. Minimum donation is $125 and the charity is #Ride4Krystle which is something I have been fostering this season to help a close friend with cancer and a young and vibrant heart, just like all you ladies who come out and shred! 

We have some exciting guest coaches lined up for this year, you will definitely not want to miss it.

The day will run pretty similar to last year with a start up in the parking lot around 8:30 (likely either Boulder or Frisbee - haven't decided yet). We will divide into groups early based on your requests and skill levels. We will head up the mountain right away where we will work on a variety of skills from getting unstuck, to shredding sidehills to some avalanche education and games. When everyone is sacked, we will head down, help each other get all loaded up and then head over to the Big Eddy Pub where we will be showered with appies and beer from handsome young poolboys. Kidding, no poolboys sorry. 

There will be prizes and giveaways and all kinds of good conversation to wrap up the day and start the season off with a bang. 

Numbers are limited so please get registered right away if you are at all interested. This ride filled up really fast last year.

Then send me a separate email with requests of people who you would like to ride with in your group and/or if you are coming alone, you general ability level or skills you would like to work on.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask, this is a once a year opportunity and is seriously the funnest day so don't even think about it, just do it :)
