March 25-26, 2017: Revelstoke Backcountry Bootcamp

The final bootcamp of the 2016/17 season went off with a bang. We had such a great group of girls and some amazing coaches to compliment everybody's riding style. I thank all of you for coming out and supporting us, it is really cool to see all these women who are so good at this sport and want to continue progressing! Hope you enjoy this round of photos, you sure made it really easy to get great shots of each of you! See ya next season :)

January 21, 2017: Revelstoke Intro to Backcountry

Absolutely impressed with the talent that came out for the Intro to Backcountry camp on January 21! We had seven rad ladies that all progressed exponentially throughout the day, what a great crew! I know that everyone was tired at the end of the day but it was well worth it, as the confidence was pouring out of those helmets. We had great conditions, and lot's of laughs and I can't wait to see all these ladies again and see how much more they progress!!

January 7-8, 2017: Revelstoke Bootcamp

The first bootcamp of the season went down without a hitch! We had an amazing 10 women travelling from as far as Quebec and Manitoba! We also had a four pack of super talented coaches including Shelly Ferguson, Brianna Lukkar and Kelsey Stefanyk. Thank you everyone as well as mother nature for completely being perfect for us for this amazing weekend of riding!

April 9-10, 2016: Revelstoke Jump Camp

We did it. We completed the season with a Jump Camp, finally!

It was a surreal weekend of amazing weather and amazing women and I was proud of the progression that happened over just 2 days! We started out with small 2 foot wind lip and by the end everyone was hitting a 30 foot cheesewedge. Lady build and lady ridden. We also managed to reverse the typical sexism related to the motorized industry and got every male in sight to take their shirt off and shovel for us. It was a win all around and I can't wait to do it again.  It's about progression. It's about accomplishment. And most importantly, it's about the friendships.

March 19-20, 2016: Revelstoke Bootcamp

Stoked to get these photos up but a little sad it was the last bootcamp of the season for us! It was sooooo good though! Amazing group of ladies and really good conditions for us. We ventured into Turtle with this group, which is something we have never done before. We had long days and tired girls, but rallied through even after my mis-guided line at the end of the day! Thanks to all you ladies for making it a memorable camp and hope to see you again soon!

March 5-6, 2016: Betties Wells Bootcamp

Super cool weekend away in the north this weekend where myself and Stephanie Laroy-Schwartz spent the weekend in Wells, BC with a rad group of ladies representing the Betties Powersports Network. The community is off the beaten path and a pretty awesome place to get away for a weekend of sled adventures. We had a big turnout with 11 girls, and mother nature was good to us with some sun and some fresh. I am fired up on all the new friends I met an the talent that is coming out of the north, great to see these women bringing the sport to the next level! Thanks for the great time girls and hope to see you again soon! The photos are compliments of Peter Campbell and myself :)

February 20-21, 2016: Golden Betties Bootcamp

It was an absolute honor to be hosted by the Betties Power Sports Network, an amazing and dedicated group of women that help bring other like minded women together! Our host, Tamara Osborne did an unreal job at guiding us around and that woman has skills, let me tell you! The weekend was an absolute blast and the snow was phenomenal. The group was probably one of the strongest group of girls we've ever got a hold of with several returning clients and some new ones! I am really looking forward to more camps with this wicked group of ladies and if you are looking for more details make sure you check out their website www.thebetties.ca or their facebook page, it is well worth joining!

February 13-14, 2016 : Revelstoke Bootcamp

No promises are ever made for fresh pow at every bootcamp, but somehow the stars always seem to align and provide for us! This was an exceptional group of shredder women that came out and boy did they work their asses off! It was funny to see how tired everyone was on Sunday! That's a good thing though because it means we worked hard (and we did!) There is lot's of evidence here for you. Make sure to tag yourself and your friends and share away!

January 30-31, 2016: Valemount Backcountry Bootcamp

We came, we conquered. This was the first La Niña Sled Camp that took us two coaches away from home and it was a huge success. Valemount has the most stunning Rocky Mountain Peaks and the snow was great and the people even greater! We had 5 girls show up and we got in 2 great days of riding. We will definitely be back in this neck of the woods next year and already looking forward to it! Thanks to Alpine Country Rentals and VARDA and the Caribou Grill for helping us bring it all together and for your amazing hospitality.

January 9, 2016: Backcountry Intro

I normally offer the Backcountry Intro because I feel that it is a necessary step for girls to transition into starting to ride on their own - away from the dads and the husbands and the brothers. Usually, I don't get much interest and the camps run with 2 to 4 girls. This year was an exception - I had so much interest I had to bring on another coach and then I was still turning girls away! I am sorry to the ladies that I couldn't take on, I hope you try again next year! And for all the ladies that came out, I was amazed by your skills you had already and your ability to learn so quickly! It was a super fun day and a lot was learned and a lot of new friendships were made. Thanks to everyone, including Brianna Lukkar and Stephanie Laroy-Schwartz for helping make it such a success!

January 2-3,2016 : First RevyBootcamp of the Season!!!

Holy crow, I cannot believe that it is 2016 already! What a great way to start the year with seven amazing ladies from all over and as far as Manitoba! Thanks so much for the wicked weekend girls and hope you enjoy the photos. We got pretty darn lucky with snow conditions and beautiful weather - we must be doing something right! All photos courtesy of Brianna Lukkar, please tag your self and share and I will get the dropbox link of all of them to you shortly. These are the top pics :)

February 14-15, 2015: Sicamous La Niña Backcountry Bootcamp

La Niña Sled Camp ventured outside its regular boundaries last weekend and hit up Sicamous, BC. It was a fantastic group and the conditions were even somewhat better than Revelstoke. We found some sun and some fresh on Saturday and definitely pushed some gals' limits in Eagles Pass on Sunday. It was a huge success any way you look at it and I am excited to start bringing the camps around the province!

January 17, 2015 : La Niña Sled Camp Intro To Backcountry

3 ladies joined me this past weekend for the Backcountry Intro Camp - this is a camp developed to get girls comfortable to start venturing into the backcountry without their significant other, but maybe with a group of friends.  We worked on basic skills like leaving the trail and basic sled handling in addition to some trip planning and general mountain sledding etiquette.  We had a pretty socked in day but we kept venturing on, even when the "boys" were all turning around and heading down the mountain.  These girls were determined and learned fast!  I sure hope to see them back for the 2-day bootcamp!  I get really inspired when I see ladies learn skills so fast and just want to keep riding even when their arms and bodies are telling them "no more"!

La Niña Backcountry Bootcamp - January 3-4, 2015

The first bootcamp of the season was absolutely successful!  We had 6 ladies - one travelling as far as Saskatchewan and one extra on Sunday. Maybe one or two stucks. The weather was pretty good and the snow was in our favour as well.  No arctic cats either.  That was a pleasant surprise ;)  Here are some photos on how the weekend went.  Enjoy!
